Fishing at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

18.5 inch Smallmouth Bass

This was my first ever trip to Lake Geneva, and my first ever "smallmouth bass fishing trip."

Thanks to a fellow angler Roumel (Rokmel to the Shabbona crew), I got a nice introduction to the lake and to smallmouth fishing.

I launched about 10:30 AM, went over to the shallows for some perch, then baited up and fished the ledges.

Water temp was 53 degrees, visibility about 10 FEET ( a little different than the 12 inches at Shabbona)

The action was a little slow, but for my first trip, and a nasty cold front, I'm very happy with the trip.

Back on the trailer at 4 PM.

THANKS AGAIN ROUMEL

Good Luck Everybody !!!!
