November 10, 2007 Fishing at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
19 inch Smallmouth Bass This was Joey's introduction to smallmouth fishing. We launched at 9:30 AM from Williams Pier, and fished until 1 PM. We spent a good hour + getting our perch (he was having fun, so we just kept catching them). Around 10:45-11 AM, we got "serious" and baited up for the smallies. Fishing the exact same pattern as Nov 8, 2007, he tied into his first one. It was a SOW, but as it got near the boat, it went airborne and was gone.... But 20 minutes later he was holding this nice 19 incher. We had several other "chances", but by 1 PM the wind was really picking up, and he had had enough. We'll be back. Good Luck Everybody !!!!
