Mallard Lake Forest Preserve

From the Dupage Count website :

Mallard Lake is one of the largest of DuPage County's forest preserves and features two recreational lakes: 80-acre Mallard Lake and 7-acre Cloverdale Pond. Fishing along the shores of either lake will yield largemouth bass, channel and flathead catfish, bluegill, crappie and northern pike that have been stocked by the District.

Here's my opinion :

This is another clear water lake. It has a few shallow weeds, but is mainly a sandy/rocky lake. Like Atwood Lake, I prefer to fish Mallard in windy, overcast conditions as the more aggressive fish will stack up on the windblown points.
