Memorial Day at Busse Woods

 Holy Bass-Hole Batman ! These bass were angry today. Lisa (my wife), Dr. Mike Fisher and I started the morning at Busse Woods. Spinnerbaits and shallow crankbaits were the way to go. Bass were 18 inches and 3 pounds, 17.5 inches and 2.9 pounds, 15.5 inches and 1.9 pounds, and Lisa caught about 20 little bluegills in a half-hour. Not a bad morning. Then it was time to head home to grill-out for lunch, by the way, Thanks to the Soldiers who died keeping our country safe. Freedom isn't free.
